A note from our MPD PSA Community Liaison.
Good afternoon! The 2nd District's Community Outreach Team is excited to begin its series of "Casual Corners". This week, on Friday afternoon, we will be out and about in PSA 207 and PSA 208. We look forward to talking to you and to hearing your ideas for increasing the partnerships between your neighborhood communities and the 2nd District, to create an even more accessible law enforcement presence in your neighborhoods.
As your Outreach Officers, we are also eager to share with you some safety tips (including theft prevention, pedestrian safety, personal safety, holiday shopping safety, and robbery prevention) and some easy tips for emergency preparedness.
We look forward to meeting you at the following location this week:

PSA 208 flowing is a very high priority for us in the neighborhood. I would like to share a few tips regarding awareness in fireplaces . Have your fireplace cleaned by a qualified chimney sweep and always use a properly sized fireplace screen. Never leave a fire in a fireplace unattended.
