Nov. 2: Homeless Mini-Walk

What: Mini-Walk for Homeless

When: Sunday, November 2, 2008; 1:00 pm

Where: Meet at the corner of 20th Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. Look for the Charlie’s Place and DCCA banners. We will walk to St. Margaret’s Church for light refreshments and a presentation about the work of Charlie’s Place. DCCA will provide transportation for anyone unable to walk that far.

Details: This event is designed for those who are unable to participate in the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon on November 22. The cost is $15 for those up to age 25; $25 for everyone else. Sign up is required, but can be done on the spot.
